Please read these Terms carefully before accessing or using our services. If you do not agree to all of these Terms, you may not access the website or use any of our commercial or engineering services.

2. Quotations, Orders, and Acceptance

  1. Validity of Quotations: All formal quotations, proforma invoices, and pricing estimates issued by Boltorq are valid for thirty (30) days from the date of issuance, unless otherwise explicitly stated in writing.
  2. Order Confirmation: An order is deemed accepted only when Boltorq issues a formal written Order Acceptance / Confirmation or Proforma Invoice to the buyer.
  3. Product Modifications: Boltorq reserves the right to make technical enhancements, dimensional refinements, or material updates to products without prior notice, provided such modifications do not adversely affect the overall functional performance or load rating of the tool.

3. Pricing, Payments, and Taxes

  1. Pricing Currency: All prices are quoted in Indian Rupees (INR) for domestic orders or United States Dollars (USD) / Euros (EUR) for international export orders, unless specified otherwise.
  2. Applicable Taxes & Duties: Prices quoted are exclusive of GST, import/export duties, tariffs, customs clearance charges, and local sales taxes unless explicitly included in a written contract or Commercial Invoice under specific Incoterms (e.g., DDP).
  3. Payment Terms: Standard B2B supply terms require payment according to the agreed milestones outlined in your quotation (e.g., Advance payment upon order placement and remaining balance prior to dispatch or via irrevocable Letter of Credit at sight).

4. Shipping, Delivery, and Incoterms

  1. Delivery Schedules: Delivery dates provided by Boltorq are estimates made in good faith based on current manufacturing capacity and raw material availability. Boltorq shall not be liable for losses or damages arising from delays caused by shipping carriers, customs clearance, or force majeure events.
  2. International Shipping (Incoterms 2020): Unless otherwise agreed in writing, international exports are supplied under FOB (Free On Board) or CIF (Cost, Insurance, and Freight) terms.
  3. Freight Damage & Loss: The risk of loss or damage passes to the customer upon delivery of the goods to the carrier or port of shipment. Inspect all crates and packaging upon arrival and report any transit damage immediately to both the carrier and Boltorq within 48 hours of receipt.

5. Product Warranty and Calibration Standards

  1. Standard Limited Warranty: Boltorq provides a 12-Month Limited Warranty on manufactured torque tools, pumps, and tensioners from the date of invoice or dispatch against defects in materials and manufacturing workmanship.
  2. Warranty Exclusions: This warranty does NOT cover:
    • Normal wear and tear of seals, O-rings, hydraulic fluids, and mechanical moving parts.
    • Tool damage resulting from improper operator usage, overloading beyond rated torque/pressure limits, failure to conduct pre-usage electrical checks (such as earthing/voltage requirements for electric controllers), or inadequate maintenance.
    • Unauthorized repair, alteration, or disassembly performed outside Boltorq-authorized service facilities.
  3. Calibration Certificates: Every precision tool (including BT-DC, BT-H, BT-HD, and hydraulic series) is supplied with factory calibration data conforming to international standards (ISO/DIN). Re-calibration recommended after extended field use is the responsibility of the end-user.

6. Operational Safety and User Responsibility

  1. Qualified Operation: Boltorq industrial equipment—including ultra-high-pressure hydraulic pumps (up to 4000 Bar), hydraulic wrenches, and tensioners—must be operated strictly by trained, qualified industrial personnel.
  2. Safety Compliance: Users are strictly required to adhere to all pre-usage checklists, electrical safety guidelines (e.g., 220V AC earthing compliance), pressure relief valve instructions, and personal protective equipment (PPE) protocols detailed in the product user manuals.
  3. Limitation of Liability: To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Boltorq. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages (including loss of production, plant downtime, or operational revenue losses) arising from tool usage or mechanical failure.

7. Intellectual Property Rights

  1. Website Content: All text, dynamic spec tables, engineering diagrams, logos, product series names (such as BT-DC, IBT, LOW, LP3, BBT, BTPHP, HSNP, BTB, BW), images, and software scripts on this website are the exclusive intellectual property of Boltorq.
  2. Restrictions: You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from any website content or technical datasheets without express prior written consent from Boltorq.

8. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any legal disputes, claims, or proceedings arising out of or in connection with our products, website, or commercial agreements shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Jamnagar, Gujarat, India.
